Abstract

This paper explores the critical applications of various branches of mathematics in the maritime industry, highlighting their roles in optimizing operations, enhancing safety, and improving decision-making processes. Key mathematical areas such as algebra, differential equations, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and fuzzy logic are examined for their contributions to ship design, navigation, logistics, and risk assessment. The integration of these mathematical principles not only facilitates better modelling of complex maritime systems but also supports compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency. By analyzing the interconnectedness of these mathematical applications, this study underscores the necessity for a robust mathematical framework in addressing contemporary challenges in maritime fields
